The College of Business and Management Sciences (CoBAMS), through the School of Statistics and Planning and the Department of Statistical Methods and Actuarial Science, is pleased to announce an exciting student mobility opportunity for the 2026–2027 academic year under the bilateral agreement between Makerere University and University of Padova.
This opportunity arises from the existing Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions, valid until September 2028, and supports academic exchange and international collaboration in the field of statistics and related disciplines.
Available Opportunity
The mobility program is open to Master’s and PhD students in Statistics for the Winter Semester (October 2026 – January 2027) at the Department of Statistical Sciences, University of Padova, Italy.

Eligibility
Applicants must be registered students at Makerere University pursuing graduate studies in Statistics and meet the required academic qualifications, including a minimum CGPA of 3.60. Candidates should also provide proof of academic progress and current employment, where applicable. Female students and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
