Dr. Wandera is a Consortium for Advanced Research Training in Africa (CARTA)-funded Fellow and as the MAK Institutional Focal Person for CARTA. Prof. Buyinza Mukadasi, the Director, Directorate of Research and Graduate Training, Makerere University congratulated Dr. Wandera upon his well deserved appointment, stating that it brings the College double joy because in CARTA, the theory of change argues that sustainable transformation must come from within, through a critical mass of faculty that are willing, ready, able and supported to drive change!! “For us in the CARTA umbrella, we believe that truly transformative change will come through CARTA graduates (e.g Wandera) emerging as senior leaders.” he added.

The College of Business and Management Sciences joins the rest of Makerere University in congratulating Dr. Wandera upon his appointment in the UN and wish him the very best in his tenure there.
